For English (ENG) players, ECF membership at the Gold level or above is mandatory. Non-ENG players do not require ECF membership.

FIDE ID is a players personal identification number used by World Chess Federation for chess tournaments. If you don't have one contact your national Chess Federation (ECF, WCU, SCU etc) and they will issue one for you . If you are English Contact ECF on iro@englishchess.org.uk or call 01424 775222
In order to play FIDE standard rated tournaments all English player must be Gold or above level. contact ECF : membership@englishchess.org.uk
U2300 means under 2300 FIDE rating. If you don not have FIDE rating standard rating we will enter you U1600 section. IF you don not have any of those 2 enter the lowest section i/e U1600
